Every week I join in with Play Fest which is hosted by Izziwizzi Kids on Twitter and Facebook. I really look forward to the chats at Play Fest which focus on maximising play with our children. This could be anything from craft activities to days out and we get to help with the odd toy review too. Al from Izziwizzi Kids has written a post for my blog so she can tell you a bit more about Play Fest and hopefully get more people to join in!
Really delighted that Laura said Izziwizzi could create a guest post on her blog today. For those of you who don’t know me I am otherwise known as Al Boxall-Gordon of the IzziwizziKids Play Fest. I’m a mum of three children aged 8, 6 and 4 and host the Play Fest which is a FREE weekly event on Twitter and Facebook. As part of building this up over the last two years I have also established a social media marketing business, Buzz Internet Marketing, supporting brands and businesses to use social media effectively to get closer to their customers.
Play Fest is an opportunity for all families to get involved and have a say about something topical in the field of toys, games and play. We get brands, retailers, bloggers...you name it, involved. We partner up with lots of fabulous brands and retailers to giveaway lots of goodies and discounts.
Laura is personally a very special person to me and also to Play Fest as she has been involved in supporting Play Fest from early days and gets actively involved every week. Usually Laura’s happy face appears early on in the Play Fest to meet and greet as guests arrive. Occasionally she ends up working late, but you can pretty much guarantee that at some point in the evening Laura’s smiley avatar will be there ready for a good old chinwag. Laura is such a down to earth mummy (I’m not so sure about the flabby tummy) and has a warmth that makes everyone feel so welcome. Laura creates an endless supply of fabulous informative toy reviews
for Play Fest too!
So here’s the information you need. Izziwizzi would like you to come and join Laura and get involved in Play Fest. It’s FREE! It’s every Thursday evening on Facebook and every Tuesday evening on Twitter. You can find more details by following Izziwizzi on Twitter or liking the Izziwizzi Kids Facebook Fan Page.
Over the coming weeks you can enjoy Play Fest with Slow Toys (with Selfridges) and Galt Toys with some stocking fillers for Christmas. Follow Izziwizzi Kids to keep up with more exciting things in the pipeline.
